Yes, we're finally fully integrated into the social networking site; facebook.
If you're on Facebook a lot, and have some free time, feel free to send our admin an email - we're looking for a volunteer to help with our Facebook page. Nothing too serious - just monitoring the page for trolls and hey, if you come upon a neat article or a youtube video that could be of use to our readers - post it up!
If you're interested, email our admin.

The Sheepdog Coalition: Trusted authorities on stuff we've seen.
I'm implementing a new aspect to the top of our site. The Sheepdog Coalition.
Until I can figure out how to make that grey bar end at the edges of each side, that's where it'll sit. In any case - I'll be offering advertising opportunities only to companies we've had direct involvement with - through reviews or otherwise. These advertisements are being held at a rate of 10 dollars per month or 100 dollars for a full year. Proceeds from that revenue will initially be spent on building the foundations of the site - expansion... Business cards to be given out at trade shows and such.
Any advertisement you see along the top is a suggested retailer and has had direct involvement with civiliansheepdog.com - see what the have to offer and don't be afraid to dig in.

Make Your Own Gear: No... Really.
Just stumbled upon this site... still browsing it after 45 seconds, which is uncommon of sites I usually stumble upon.
Make Your Own Gear
All in all, I'm a big fan of general DIY sites and the culture that surrounds them. I like the satisfaction of completing a project. Re-purposing old stuff and complete scratch builds, I usually build skillsets that are really useful.
